Manstein's revenge

Okay, so you are serious that it really came to $229...!  Wow, you are the "anti-Jeff"...

LOL at the dialogue w/ your wife---that's what I'm talking:  Just come busting through the front door loaded down and let 'em have it.  Coulda been a tad better if you'd said" "Get up off the couch and get out to the car, there's more in the trunk and I need you to help bring 'em in...snap, snap..."

$229, for real and for true!

NIce job Fermis. Well deserved awards and a substantial haul to boot.

I'd call that a good day...

I established dominance early on. If you let "them" take the reins for a minute, it's over!

Congrats, fermis.  I would have been happy with one of those kits as a score ... and to top it off with the wins as well.  You're my new hero.

Thanks guys!

There was some really good competition, except for the choppers, there was only one other on the table. I'll just melt those medals down for nose weights!!!

Doubleplusgood!  Congrats on the awards and the scores.  One question though.  How did you sneak your newly acquired kits into the house?  All of us out here need additional methods so as to avoid injury.

I just walk through the front door, with my arms loaded. She asked how many I won in the raffle...."none", "How much did you spend"?........."229 bucks"! I had just thrown that number out there as a joke. Not until I posted and did the math, did I realize I wasn't joking!

Wow---good times...Its going to a nice contest, getting some good deals on kits, trading war-stories w/ other modelers, and then being recognized for your work that, IMO, makes the hobby even more enjoyable...Cool

Bt the way, Iove the medals your club uses---they are really cool!!!  Congrats on the U-boat and other winners, you did quite well and for good reason....YesYes
