Thanks fermis. As a matter of fact, yes I did grab a couple of goodies. I do not build 1/72 scale but my buddy who does twisted my arm to buy these so I will be expanding to this scale too.
The Betty and Ohka kits are factory sealed in their bags and is just a beautifully detailed kit that cost me $8. The Williams Brothers C46 is beautifully detailed too and not bad at $7. The MPC Banshee has fine recessed panel lines and the box was factory sealed, as were the Jake and Lilly from Hasegawa. The Revell P26a was $2 and is a vintage model. Overall I spent about $36 for all of them.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Congratulations on the awards and on the future article! Looking forward to reading it.
Thanks for all the great comments, I really appreciate them!

Germans were more advanced with aircraft during WWI than we thought.
Beautiful work! Glad it was recognised.
"I'd "I'd rather be historically accurate than politically correct."
"Sic gorgiamus allos subjectatos nunc!"
I entered five models at the IPMS Spartanburg South Carolina Model Show last Saturday and was very happy with the results:
The Dr1 tri wing will be a future article as FSM just purchased my story. I just noticed that I was given a Jet trophy instead of a prop one!
