JABA,

Welcome.

For armor, I usually put the whole thing together first, before painting.

If the interior will be visible, I will paint that prior to closing the hull.

It takes trial and error.  I'm always thinking after the fact how I could have done it better.

Paul

P.S. Careful with the CAPS lock key.  All CAPS can be interpreted as shouting.

That's what I do. Small parts, tools and stowage get painted before attaching to the body. Some small parts which stand the chance of getting broken off will be the last to go on. Tracks and roadwheels get painted off the vehicle and are attached last.

To be honest, if you follow the instructions, step-by-step, you can't go wrong.
