Odd Revell combo kit

This one may even be new to Hans.  I understand the addition of paint and a DVD of the aircraft, but a can of redbull?  Hmm, interesting

OK, you pound down the Red Bull and as you start to work on the kit, caffein overdose kicks in causing uncontrollable tremens resulting in the shredding of said kit and causing you to run right out and get another kit thus repeating the process.  This continues until no more of these kits are available.  Don't know why you're puzzled, it makes perfect sense to me.............................

I remeber that Red Bull issue of the B-25, I think it was illegal for sale in France because of the Red Bull...

Easy, there was this Red Bull-sponsored, mirror-polished B-25 visiting air shows in Europe around 2005, and the kit tries to play on that. I remember seeing the real deal on an airshow in Braunschweig, Germany. I went there with my pal, we didn't know what exactly was in program, so there we are, trying to find a parking place, and suddenly a B-25 buzzed by - dang, first time I've seen one in person! That was cool.

By the way - I don't like the drink at all... Have a nice day

Yeah Pawel, it's all just marketing. They need to replace the fallen with fresh troops. My demographic is more likely to drink cans of Geritol.

I was under the impression that the Red Bull could be used as paint stripper....

I just saw a show the other night about Redbulls planes

They have a whole fleet of WW2 era planes (and newer) that are restored to tip top shape, and flown to airshows.

Yupper, that release never made it to my area..  They only "corporate warbird" kit I ever saw was the Monogram T-6 from the Miller High-Life Aerobatic Team, "Sky-typers"...  Suppose the next thing will be a Mountain Dew warbird?

Warbirds are getting so exspensive to fly & maintain that corporate sponsors all almost a requirement...  I prefer authentic paint schemes though... Boeing's been behind "FiFi" for a long time, with money, parts, and mechs... Without them, she'd have been grounded even longer, maybe for years, after the fire on number three ...  But at least they didn't want their logo painted on her..

Manstein's revenge

That was one of those Revell crazy car kits - "Ozzie's Austin" I believe. They had to re-issue the decals though, the text & stencils were all garbled, nobody could understand them! Wink

Yeah, I see those Red Bull aircraft often at airshows in Europe. Red Bull sponsers several WW2 warbirs like the B-25. And also a pair of alpha jets, a sea vixen and a AH-1. Only thing is they put their logo real big on the aircraft they sponser.
Red Bull is certainly (and fortunatly) not the only company to do so, another big aircraft sponsor is Breitling. They sponser a WW2 fighter collection and a 6 plane L-39 albatros team!
