It's great to run into a company that has great customer service. My problems started over a year ago when I bought a Dremel Stylus that had terrible spindle runout when using the drill chuck. Turns out the threads had been cut .004" out of concentricity causing the whole chuck to wobble, using collets was OK though. On the advice of a friend I sent the tool back to dremel and even though the warranty was long up they sent me a new Stylus the day after receiving the one I sent back.
Unfortunately the new Stylus had even greater run out than my original (Dremel is running an investigation to see what's causing this). When I called Dremel back about the latest problem the nice lady at Customer Service said she would send me an 8200 and a flex shaft attachment so that I could still do fine detail work. She had one of the engineers check out both tools for runout and anything else that might be wrong before sending them out.
Now mind you my only outlay was only for shipping and Dremel never charged a penny for the new tools. Everything was resolved within a week. From what I have seen, have no fear of any product Dremel makes as they stand behind them 100%. It's really refreshing to see this kind of service in this day and age.
