Horrible eBay Seller Beware!!
Posted by soulcrusher on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 1:33 PM

Just thought I would warn all of my model building freinds here. I have had two nightmare dealing with this seller and wanted to warn everyone else to stay away if you do notice something he has that intrest you. So far I am waiting three weeks to get a book and three decal sheets that this seller listed. I only live 30 miles away from him. When I contacted him after waiting 10 days after the day he marked it as shipped he told me he shipped it and he could not help it if the mail was slow. This guy is a crook with almost 60 negative and neutral feedbacks in just this year alone!! He will have four more when I am done. Here is a look at the way this guy does buisness.

I have bought from him in the past with no problems though...

This trully sucks when you run into scammers like this. Waiting for 3 weeks! That's more than enough time for it to reach you.

How did you pay? If you used PayPal try to get your credit. If by money order check to see if it was cashed. Did you pay for Insurance or delivery confirmation? Have you contacted Ebay and filed a complaint?

With that kind of negative feedback record Dead I would have never bought anything from him. That would have been one huge red flag. I hope you can resolve your problem.

I payed with PayPal so I am covered moneywise, i just get PO when I am lied to and jerked around. He wants me to believe that it is taking over 17 days for the USPS to deliver the package 30 miles from where he supposivly mail it. I opened up 4 cases agianst him last night on PayPal. He has a score 99.6% on his feedback but if you do the math for the number of tranactions that would mean he has over 300 negative feefbacks left for him! He is able to burry his crappy service with high volume which is why he probally doesn't give a crap. If you extent the number of neutral feedback he would have recieved by what is shown for the lat 12 months it would be another 300 people he has screwed. That means well over 600 people that got service so bad they could not leave postive feedback. Even on some of the postive feedback left there are many complants about extremely long wait times to recieve items.

Posting here to all of my fellow builders is the only real way I can get back at him for the crappy service he has given me. Leaving negative feedback means nothing to him and it will never show in his rating anyway. this is the only way I can make myself heard. . Plus if I can help any of you guys from getting screwed by him that would be a great thing too. I would really appreciate anyone who backs me by not purchasing from this seller. Us little guys have to stick together ya know!

I thought the same thing but only afterwards. I use be very diligent about reading actual feedback before buying on eBay especially in the begining but after years of having nothing but good experience I stopped and took it for granted that they were all good. Like I said I can get my money back but to me that is not really justice. I am taking the time to post al of this as a way of fighting back and getting it off my chest. We as modellers can speak with our dollars. Sellers like this do not deserve our hard earned cash and I hope as modellers we can all stick together and not purchase from sellers like this. If we can hit him in the wallet that is the only real way to fight back.

Five days have passed and he still has not bothered to respond to the four cases I opened up agianst him on PayPal. I guess he treasts PayPal claims the same way he treats his customers. I don't know how many people have read this or more importantly how many of my fellow model builders will put him on their black list and never purchase from him but I hope it is a significant number. Mabye then he might realise that if you don't give customer service you won't have customers at all.

Frankly, I don't trust any sellers that have Ebay "Stores"...  In fact, allowing folks to "sell professionally" on Ebay is my biggest pet-peeve about it...

Yeah Hans I remember back when it was mostly garage sale finds people thinning their stash or some who just lost intrest in building. You can still find the casual sellers on there and I manage to get at least one good deal a week from someone just looking to unload a couple of kits that were sitting in a closet. It just takes a lot of time to sort threw all of the stores. The funny part is 99% of the stuff that is on there listed by these stores can be had at any one of the big online retailers usally cheaper and you are buying from a buisness not someone selling out of his garage. I actually can find most of the mainstream Revell/Monogram kits way cheaper on Amazon and if they are being sold by Amazon and you buy more that $25 dollars worth the shipping is free so no extra cost added into buying the kit just the price of the kit itself.

Ditto Although he certainly didn't sell at a bargain price.
