Need Instructions for a HasegawaSP5B Marlin
Posted by COChef on Sunday, July 24, 2011 1:29 PM

I was wondering if any one can help me with finding a set of instructions for a Hasegawa Martin SP5B Marlin seaplane I've lost them over the years and want to start building the kit for my Dad. He was with VP-50 during Operation Market Time in Vietnam.

Thanks David (COChef)

David, I have this kit. Unless somebody else helps you first, I could try to get an image of those instructions and send them to you next friday. In return, I'd like to ask you for help with those Vietnam markings - I have a kit with VP-48 markings, I don't know if they'd be OK for Vietnam. Hope we can help each other, have a nice day

Thanks Pawel,

I did get a set of instructions as far as helping you with the tail codes and color and markings for the P5M not a problem as I am in the process of building the USS Pine Island during Vietnam and this P5M with the squadron markings for VP-50 .

Go to these websites they both are a wealth of infor on the squadrons and ships during the Vietnam War
