This is Edgar Seay, Jr. with the historcal marker Junior is the son of the founder and current proprietor of MAL.
I spent many decades of my life shopping in that charming little store located off Irving Blvd, and talking with the Seays. Nice to see the family, and their operations, get a historical marker.
Wonder when/if Wild Bill's will get one too?;)

This just proves the hobby .When a LHS can endure this long in tha same location it speaks volumns about the SEAYS and their devotion to the business and the customers.True , not every LHS can do this , BUT how many stores today (HOBBY LOBBY , HOBBYTOWN ) can claim HISTORIC status ?
