They have great prices and blazing fast shipping. However, they have lost my business several times due to a crippled search engine on their site. I have found weeks later that they had what I was previously looking for thru a whole different search result. They should address that pronto! Other than that, they rock and their return policy or missing parts is addressed in a very fast way with minimal to no questions asked. Best wishes to Sprue Brothers Toast

I like also Scale Hobbyist, but from 'Submit to actual Ship' I can easily change my mind and order from someone else.

(I just can't resist posting in a thread with this title!!)

Yep, congrats to the Sprue Bros, I've dealt with them for almost all of my online purchases with no problems at all. Now how do we arrange for an unsupervised tour??? Whistling

Wharehouse stock is indeed a boad thing for a comapny. It is just money collecting dus on a shelf... unless your stock get worth more, but that is just gold and oil, not model kits.

I'd love to work in their returns dept. If you get your hands on enough defective kits, eventually one complete kit with lots of spare parts.

They may have become my new supplier. Took me 3 days to get my order. Great prices too.

I guess a "bad economy" is a relative thing. As in not relating to them.

This is an understandable misconception. This warehouse may be well stocked but doesn't reflect the company being financially healthy. You also have to be able to "move" your stock as in people actually buying your inventory. And paying for it in a swift fashion.

My own company (we deal in cables of all sorts as well as audio/ video connectivity equipment) has millions of dollars worth in the warehouse but still our CEO made very clear last month that the company is not doing well at all. Orders go out but it takes time for the customers to pay as sometimes it takes even up to six months due to contract agreements. If the costs rise during that time (or subsequently *** happening if you will pardon my dutch...)you may have assets and money due coming in, you still go under.... Modern economics for you i guess....Bang Head

The fact that Spruebrothers is relocating to a nice new and five time larger warehouse is more of an indication in my humble opinion.
