Central Arkansas model show (11th annual Sproo Doo) OCTOBER 1st

The Central Arkansas Scale Modelers 11th annual Sproo Doo Show is only a month off. October 1st In Jacksonville, Arkansas (few miles outside of Little Rock). We've got John's Models from Pensacola coming along with Tri State Hobbies from St. Louis. We also have a number of local vendors and individuals who will be selling kits and such. Our website has all the information on the show along with a link to pre-registration. The show venue is within walking distance of several eating establishments and just a few minutes drive from museums, lodging and other local hobby shops. There is a map on the website showing points of interest. Categories, vendor information, ect is also located on the website.

We would love to have you so please mark that date on your calender. October 1st 2011... Only 4 short weeks away!

Hey guys! The countdown is ticking as we approach this year's show! In 30 days, on October 1st, Central Arkansas Scale Modelers will be hosting their 11th Annual Sproo-Doo Model Show. We are looking forward to this show and hope you are too!

This year's theme is the "70th Anniversary of the Attack on Pearl Harbor." CASM will be using the Gold, Silver, Bronze judging style. Judging Criteria can be found on the club website. Registration will be open from 8am-12pm. Pre-registration is available now on the club website, and payment will be made day of show.

  • Adult - $10 for one (1) and $2 for each additional model
  • Juniors (13-18) - $4 for one (1) and $1 for each additional model
  • Kids (12 and under) - Free for the first one and $1 for each additional model
  • IPMS Members get a discount!

Class breakdown for the show can be found on the attached flyer or on the club website. The show will be located at Game Zone Alpha at 620 W. Main Street in Jacksonville, AR. For directions to the venue, food, lodging, and other key attractions, please check out the map on the club website.

The show is this Saturday. We have had several private vendors sign on as well as some amazing items donated for the raffle and silent auction.

So far we have for the Raffle and Silent Auction:

2 air brushes from Iwata

12 various armor, figure and building kits from Mini Art

2 sets of MIG pigment weathering sets
