Improvised rocket launchers, Libyan style

The Sacramento Bee website, the Frame, has a photoset of the Libyan rebels doing their thing around Sirte, but with improvised truck-mounted rocket launchers...  lifted from the airforce!

First time I've ever seen something like that stuck in the bed of a pick'emup.

Seen alot of these on the TV newsw over the last few months, they seem to be a pretty common weapon over there. Alot of scope for some kit bashing here.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

If that doesn't cry out for a kit-bash I don't know what does!  Devil

Hard part would be find stuff in the same scale I'd think.  Automotive is generally 1/24th and helo ordnance of that type is probably going to be 1/48th; though there are some Trumpy 1/35th helos out there!

The new Toyota pickup from Meng Models is in 1/35 scale. A spare rocket launcher from a 1/35 helicopter and you're set.
