I read about this a week ago and I tend to agree with some of the commenters of the article that there is likely, hopefully, more to the story then this. While us Canadians do like our hockey I can't see that trump the museum. There is alot of land there, I did my basic training there when it was still a base.

Hopefully between the War Museum in Ottawa and the Warplane Heritage in Hamilton everything will find a new home.

I'd love to see that Arrow though :)

Folks,

I found this news to be a bit disturbing. Although I have never been to this museum (even though I've been to Toronto on several occasions, always on business, so I never had time to see the museum), I feel that such a treasure-trove of historical aviation artifacts is being lost to all, not just Canada.
