Sorry to hear about it...I can sympathize, though. I live about 10 miles East of the Rocky Mountain National
Park at an altitude of 6640 ft. This past Wednesday night I got around 18 inches of very heavy, wet snow. I
lost power at around midnight. and, like you, my house is all electric. I used my Coleman stove to make
coffee and snacks in the morning. The power still wasn't on when it was time for me to go to work at noon
so, I loaded the house mouse into the truck and took her to a motel where there was plenty of light, heat, hot
water, TV, and a good Mexican restaurant next door. I joined her after work and, after breakfast I called our
Firehouse and learned the power was back on. Luckily, except for a few Aspen, all the trees around my
house are evergreens and don't generally lose branches.
I hope you get power back soon and don't suffer any lasting damages.
All the best
Ray
