Rod, you are right in that they were only used in Europe. But i would assume what is meant is NW Europe, as oppsosed to the Eastern Front or Italy.

What Panther kit have you got. Towards the end of the war, it could have a green base. But before then it would be Yellow with Green and Brown.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Not to be a wiseacre, but weren't ALL Panthers used in Europe only? North Africa battles were done and no Panthers made it there. I do not think Panthers made it into the Asian portion of the Soviet Union, although I could be wrong.

Dark yellow would be the correct base color, but you could get away with a sand tone.Dark green as a camo color would be right on the money.

Well once again I come before the experts (and we all know what an expert is right?) I'm building a panther from Tamiya and I want to put it in the european theater, my question is what should the base color be, I planned on a sand color with a camo of green lines, would that be not right for europe????

And once again my thanks for all the help

Mike
