In the resent issue of FSM I was reading the future article and saw that if you mixed a little talcum powder with the future and it makes a nice flat coat. Has anyone here tried this? How is it done? Where can i get talcum powder to try this or will something likt baby powder work?

thanks

Stram,
It very well might work, though I've never tried it - just experiment a little with differing amounts of talc in the mix.
Personally, I wouldn't bother - there are so many very good dullcoats for sale out there.
Humbrol, Testors, Model Master, etc etc etc .
They work great - why risk messing up a great model when you can use a tried and trusted dullcoat?

Cheers, LeeTree

Truth be told just trying to save a little money and get even more use out of Future. My wife is putting some monetary limitations on my model spending. I saw this as a way to save a little.

Since the article in question was written by our very own Swanny, maybe he can enlighten all of us as to the details?
