Awesome set up!

Very nice set up. Everything has it's place... I like those little paint baskets on the shelf rails. Where did you get those? I am hoping to spend a little time tonight and tomorrow working on my new shop... Work has put a serious crimp in getting it set up.

I am currently shopping for an exhaust fan to put above the bench.

I wish the little woman would let me do that to one of our spare bedrooms!  I really like the photo station!  I take my pics with the model on top of a sheet of blue posterboard on top of an old dresser.  I steady the camera (too much alcohol and caffiene coursing through my veins) using a mono-pod.

Alright, hold on there Tex - you mean to tell me that you don't need to tear down & pack up your workstation everytime someone wants to eat a meal?? Not fair!!!! Nice little stash too - when are you building your Storch??

Congrats on the new space, does this mean the rest of the house is unpacked & set up as well?

Thanks man! The baskets are from the Container Store. A bit spendy, IMO, but I already had the vertical standards and mounting rails lying around from the move, so I was already 3/4 of the way there.

Me too! In the summer especially, I sure wouldn't mind the AC. But I have a lot more say over what happens in the garage...

Not sure how you get away with a monopod! I use a tripod and set mine on a 2 second timer delay. But then, I'm shooting at small apertures to get maximum depth of field, and that often requires shutter speeds of like 1/2 second.

Storch'll happen someday...I've got big plans for a dio with it...but that little plane scares me!

Wow Doggs! I thought your garage set up you had was pretty cool but this is to another level.

Looks like a  nice, spacious work area you've made there.  Well thought out.  Color me envious.

You might need a few more P-47's though, that stash looks a little thin in that area...

Sad thing? There are five more (Academy -N, Revell -N, Monogram Razorback and two 1/32 Hasegawas) that you can't see...

I remember doing it like that after one move - got the model workshop all up and running early on - and never finished the rest of the house!
