Revell`s PV-1 Ventura...?

Spoke to the RoG guy at IPMS Telford, (schoen auf deutch) u. es war gesagt... January for the UK,

Check with the US importers for Revell for a US release date

For just the Ventura, my shipping was 9.99 from Tower... Not too bad..  

But it proves my point..

A 1/48 Ventura kit from "TamigawaDragTrump" would have cost 80.00 plus shipping, had they released one instead of Revell...

Easily... And since the LHS has it for $26 and change, I wont mind the gas and tax to buy it there and support the shop.

Over at Armorama, coupla Rivet-counters are complaining of a too-narrow nose and mis-shapen canopy..I could just club some people... 

Of course, and their model company will be coming out with a better PV1 when? Does Gaston frequent Armorama?

I just bought one yesterday from a HobbyTown  about 3 miles away from me.  It cost about $26, no shipping charge at all for me. It's also nice that Tamiya paints are showing up in their stocks now.  Looks pretty good to me.  I was pretty busy New Year Eve and haven't had a real chance to look at it in detail until now.

The LHS had one all opened up for the ogling when I swung by today. Couldn't resist. Absolutely gorgeous kit. Though the prominent "Plus Canadian Decals!" message on the box did set me to snickering. So random.
