How many years ago did they announce their M42 Duster? Or Hobbycraft with the 1/48 F9F Cougar series?

Skybow is the one that had it listed in their line nearly 10 years ago. Then AFV Club beat them to the punch with their own M41, stole the market out from under them and basically put them out of business. The M41 had been such a hot seller because the Tamiya kit ran about $10 and was found everywhere. The only reason it was bought was because it was the cheapest priced model of a US tank on the market. There really wasn't a market for Bulldogs, just a market for a cheap, readily available US tank kit.

 Manstein's revenge:

 Manstein's revenge:

1. Airfix 72nd Swordfish - Already available, but only at selected seafood outlets. Check out your nearest Red Lobster restaurant.

 Manstein's revenge:

2. RoG 72nd Halifax - The entire shipment was sent to Halifax, Nova Scotia. The boxes are now being used as a seawall on the waterfront.

 Manstein's revenge:

3. Fujimi 1/350 Hiryu - I heard there was a legal dispute due to their wishes to include a bonus set of 1/350 scale "German Exchange Visit Unit" figures, including a certain Feldmarschall & several mistresses...

Well at least the long anticipated 1/48 Revell Ventura finally arrived...Wink I think these model companies like to have their products arrive fashionably late to great notice in the hobbyDrinks

Being a cup half full type...I guess waiting for them to come to market is better than waiting for them to decide to produce them.
