Today my son and his wife had our first biological grandchild. He was born at 0434 and his name is Tyler Andrew. He was 8 lbs. 13 oz and 20-1/2" long and may be taller than me someday. Needless to say my wife and I are very proud grandparents. :)

My son and his wife have a almost 4 year old from her previous marriage. We love him as our own as well but this child has my genetics so it is special.

As a recent grandpa, I can say that that grandkids are great, because after enjoying their visiting you for a while, they go home with their parents and you return to peace and quiet!
