Just to be sure I have you correctly. You are wanting to mask the canopy, then paint the trim around it? You would dip it in future, set it on a rag or paper towel to dry. Then, do any masking and painting of the trim.

Since the cockpit is already painted(4 colors, including the clear amber) any chance I dip then repaint? Or go over the trim w. clear flat?

I am in the process of finishing an Alaska F-16 w/ an Amber cockpit as well as a Revell Snap Camaro w/ several different Metallics. My question is when usung Future Floor wax to gloss coat windows/canopies....do I future 1st or paint/marker 1st?
