Same here.  I haven't ordered from them in about a year, but I've always been happy with them.  I think they are a small shop.

Yes, I have recently carried on an email conversation about replacing a missing part in a kit I received.  He is pretty busy on some weekends, but generally quite prompt on replies and conversations.

Finally got the shipment sat afternoon.  It had been three weeks from order placed.  I think they should include email notices if by ordering from snail mail also.

I'm glad to hear it.

Other people have complained about slow shipping.  I've read that they don't always have things in stock, and have to order from their distributors.  This never bothers me, since I'm a slow builder; I can wait for shipping.

I had issues with them not answering e-mails, or any other queries, for that matter. So now they are on my "only if no one else has it" list.

Roll Model is based in Minnesota and I'd like to give it a thumbs up but can't. If you buy the catalog, the selection is amazing: but many of the items are not available in the real world. (There are other discount places that can say the same.) And the prices are good, but no better than Scale Hobbyist. Selection at Sprue Brothers may not be quite as extensive on paper, but what they list they have. Both these places ship like lightning. At Roll Model shipping can be a very long process. Both buys I made from them took over a month to arrive. Their web site has some interesting articles though. Almost wonder if they haven't decided what they want to be.
