I like swannys site but the traffic there gets really really slow sometimes. Especially in the trading post.

The ARC forums are better, alot more traffic there.

Try Swanny's. His web site has the section that you are looking for.

I've been a member here for nearly a decade, as long as the site's been active, and this is the one site where trading and selling was never allowed.

As stated, there are multiple sites for different modeling subjects where buy/trade/sell have their own subforum depending on what you're trying to sell or trade.

Those two well chosen words for the topic made me bust out laughing and I needed it,

Manstein's revenge

Whaddaya got?

Cooler! Bwahahah

Nope, I don't ever recall this forum allowing trading or selling. I know Armorama and Hyperscale have forums that allow this.

Hmmm... It may have been somewhere else.

I wonder how much an ad will cost? I have very old and special model kit and I want to make sure it finds a good home.

From the Forum Rules, found in the Forum Rules and Ettiquette Forum:

5. Advertisements. If you would like to advertise a product that your commercial company manufactures, or if you are an individual private seller, you can buy a classified ad in the magazine or an ad on the Web site. This includes all buying, selling, and trading. Any posts that appear to be an advertisement or transaction will be deleted.

I cannot remember there EVER being a buy, sell, trade forum here. Perhaps you are thinking of somewhere else?

Trade, sell, or otherwise advertising by members has been against the policy of this forum, at least for as long as I have been around.

Trade and sell?

Hello everyone

It's been about a year since I've last visited this site, but I've vaguely remembered there was a trade and sell section in this forum. What happen to it?
