I just read a new book about the Smithsonian's airplane collection. It is "The Nation's Hanger." It is full of photographs of the collection the National Air and Space Museum at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. I visited there a couple of years ago. It is a well written book. I learned by reading it that the facility which used to be at Silver Hill is now at this museum. I borrowed the book from my local library. I enjoyed it so much I plan to buy a copy. I found just one error in it. Near to the back of the book is a photo of a P-61 Black Widow. The caption states it was a World War I night fighter. (Oops)
