Good on them. Its not hard to see how that could easily become an obsession of a sort but only of the very best kind. I think it great that relatives can get some sort of closure when, grand pas or great uncle whosoevers remains are found & properly interred. It would be nice to see this thing carried on across other countries but officaldom has a knack of playing the spoil sport at times. One country not mentioned but with obvious potential, taking into account the aerial fighting over it would be Myanmar(Burma). Having read "The Air War for Burma" by Chrisopher Shores a while back, there must still be hundreds of wrecks to be found, both from the fighting & hump flights.

Cool! Would be interesting to see a diorama of one of these modern teams discovering a wrecked WW2 aircraft in the jungle. Although I recall some difficulty doing such a mixed diorama once in my teens, as the figures I was working with were all in 1:35 and the closest aircraft kits were 1:32, but it was close enough to look decent.
