Hello everyone , has there been any new news on were tamiya is in shipping paint , thanks.
Several local hobby shops in Denver have been getting restocks of Tamiya paints for several weeks now. Not quite everything yet, but it is coming back.

Same here in ohio. My LHS owner said alot of the problem had to do with the labels on the bottles themselves. That was a big cause in delays.
no problems in New Jersey, all colors in stock, also most of your big internet suppliers have had it for some time, like greatmodels and so forth
Heard a report that Tamiya spray paints will be hard to come by due to environmental regs in California where Tamiya Usa is located.
The closest hobby shop here has them in stock, the Hobby Town a bit further away still seems to be waiting for an order...
The spray paints were the last in the paint line being fixed so ya they will be the ones harder to find.

I work at my LHS and we have all of the jar paints in stock now. We are still having issues with the sprays though. We stocked the newer sprays that are military colors but we aren't getting refills on the regular spray colors and we never got the complete line of military colors filled either.

That doesn't seem to be a concern. The reason for the delay was so they could relabel to conform to Federal consumer safety requirements, not for environmental regulations. You can recognize the new stock of spray can paint, especially the primer, because it has a plastic label applied over the can. The great thing is the instructions, etc., are now all in English on the cans and bottles.
I have been seeing restock at all my local stores. Part of the delays have been large backorders that Tamiya America is having to fill on a first in, first shipped basis.
Cheers, Aaron
