I am corious, why do I see a lot of kits in Europe resin casts. They have a lot of cool kits I'ld love to see in the states. What is better to use on resin epoxy or super glue?

I use super glue for 90% of my resin kit assembly but for large parts epoxy allows time for position them.

The main reason so many of those garage shop businesses use resin is that it does not require so much money up front as does styrene pressure molding.  Short runs are more economical than die cast, so it is useful for subjects that not everyone is asking for.  There are also a lot of these short run resin mfgs in US too.

I have never had a problem with CA on resin and it is quicker to use than epoxy.  Some resin kits use a mold release that bothers any kind of glue, so I always wash resin pieces before starting assembly.
