question to philippine modellers

Hi guys(from the philippines)!

Just discovered..ang dami nyo pala! May I pose a few questions?
1. Does anybody know where EG's hobby corner (which used to be located near the Ateneo area) moved to?
2. Does anyone know if Tenax 7 can be sourced from any local hobby shop?
3. which of the hobby shops carry the most complete line of supplies?

I live in the Katipunan area. Which of the modelling groups regularly meets in this area? I have been modelling since I was a kid-mostly aircraft. Had to stop when I statrted working due to time constraints but have continously been collecting models. Re-started the hobby in '98 after getting married and moved to our own house..stopped again and just recently (as in the past few months) re-started the hobby. Greetings to all fellow-modellers from the Philippines!
Thank you in advance for your help!

Jp,

Hi and welcome to FSM. Sorry I am not sure about where EG has relocated and I also don't know where you can get Tenax 7 locally. I am basically an Armor Modeler now although I still do modern jets every once in a while. By the way, I just get my models from Lil's Megamall & Glorietta and Comics and Hobbies in Makati Cinema Square.

It is good to have another Filipino modeler here.

Oh by the way I am not a member of any club.

Anyway see you around, pare.

Uy, isa uling Pinoy (Hey, another Filipino). Mabuhay ka, kaibigan (Live long, my friend)!

JP, EG is a close friend of mine. Unfortunately, he was forced to close down that shop and has not intentions of opening one. At least not at the moment. For your supply needs you may want to try check out JMNs at Harrison or Hobbies and Comics in Makati Cinema Square. You'll find a lot of good stuff there.

Our club, IPMS Philippines Bert Anido, has been holding meetings for several years now in Bartlett Hall, College of Fine Arts, UP Diliman. Please feel free to visit our new site at http://www.ipmsphilippines.com. Its still under construction but you'll find a lot uploaded already.

You may contact our officers if you wish to join us in one of our meets. I hope to meet you soon.
