I've seen gaming posts on and off over the years but I don't
recall seeing one for phone apps.
I highly recommend
Air Attack HD for Android. Not
sure if available for the IPhone.
It is a shooter game and the free version gives you the choice of
a P-47 or a P-38. You shoot at attacking aircraft, and bomb ground
targets. What is so cool about it is the
rendition of the numerous German aircraft that attack, Me-109’s fFw-90’s. Me- 163’s and 262’s He-111’s
and even… for the group that will take over this thread with all sorts of 229
references… Ho-229s flying at you in waves.
The overall outlines are real good and on some you can even see, amazingly
on a smart phone screen, panel lines that look close enough to be correct. Colors and camo patterns are generally good
too.
They throw in the occasional BS blimp of flying saucer but it is
really well done.
EDIT.... It's a Corsair, not a Jug.
