I dunno, but whenever I read a kit review and someone mentions parts "standing proud", my mind immediately pictures something far more pleasant than ill-fitting parts...Stick out tongue

An' tiny parts welded to your fingers or tweezers with CA.......

For guys that put the elastics on a bit to soon......those permanent rubber band imprints

around a fuselage.....lol.....what's the first word outa' your mouth???

Yeah, 'sexy' is the only way to describe that alright!Wink

Usually referring to "knock out marks", ones that are "standing proud" mean just what comes to your mind. They are often easier to remove than filling the injector marks that don't stand proud.

Actually, I was thinking of an old FSM review which mentioned some fuselage panel parts standing proud of the surrounding surfaces and an old Bob Seger song when I wrote that.... conflated imagery in my little warped mind.

Enough with the off-color humor guys, please. If it continues, this thread will quietly disappear.
