Told the wifey not to make any plans that weekend and I`m cutting the phone lines on 6 April....Big Smile It`s gonna take an act from God to stop me....so all you doomsdayer`s, be ready in April...not December.

I'm going to try to make it again this year, but most likely no entries though. But I can still spend money and look at the great work. Hope to meet some of you guys there.

Just got back, couldn't stay too long as I have to go to work this afternoon. This had to be one of the biggest turnouts I have ever seen here. The parking lot was jammed at 9:30,many,many impressive entries. The 1/6 scale guy was back with his Shermans, and a Puma 234 this time !!.There was a giant Russian Bear with spinning props, and many others.A lot of Fantasy-Sci-Fi stuff also.Sorry no pics but I'm sure there will be some.Matt Toms bought some great stuff, and I saw Redleg Mike,I'm sure others were there.Having got my fill from the Greatmodels sale,I confined myself to tools and refrence materials.

We just got home. A great time was had by all (as usual). John, you and your club put on a great show. The models on the tables were outstanding. As soon as I can solve the problem I'm having with Photobucket, I'll post the 61 pics I took. Damian and his son Kurt took home 3rd place awards. Kurt and I got lucky with the raffle tickets. We all hit the vendor tables. Thanks again for the great show John. See you next year.

Thanks for comming Jim,I had a great time myself,I didn't place in the contest (didn't expect to) and for the first time since I have been going I struck out on the raffles lol...But I did pick up Tamyia's Dragon Wagon for $75..Most I ever spent on a kit,but I always wanted it.

When I got home, I checked out the MRC 1/72 RQ-4B Global Hawk that I won in the raffle. The wingspan is huge at almost 22 inches. I don't have any room on my shelves for something that large so I guess I'll have to hang it on the wall or from the ceiling when it's finished. I didn't see anything on the vendor tables that I really wanted except the LARGE Gato sub. but $100 was a little steep for my wallet at this time. Maybe some day.

I had a good time, didn't enter anything this year, but hit the vendors table. The aircraft category was under represented this year, most likely because of Easter weekend.

In anycase, I took about 80+ pictures (sorry, forgot the auto category). I thought the scratch built diving bell was super cool.  Here's the link to my website with the photos.

To the IPMS guys, thanks for putting on another great show.

Thanks for the link to the great photos Waikong. The diving bell was outstanding and very deserving of the awards it got. I thought the number of models was a little light this year but the quality was very high.
