How fast does Hannants ship
Posted by Khalee2 on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 7:50 PM

Just ordered a couple of kits from them via air mail and was wondering about how soon after that did you get your kits, I live in  Oklahoma so would it be maybe by end of next week assuming they ship it Friday.

I'm in no rush but  I am wondering.

I ordered some decals from them recently. I seem to remember it took just over a week. I believe that was regular mail as well.

Theyre usually pretty quick. They send an email when they ship an item.

Longest it took for one of my orders was 4 or 5 days.

I've ordered from them only once, but it took almost a full two weeks for it to arrive via airmail.

I order from them regulaly and every order has been shipped out the next day if i order in the evening. I did pnce place an order in the morning and it was shipped the same day. Of course i am in the UK, so i get mine in 2 or 3 days.

But be aware that mail going between the UK and USA, and vica versa, can go through the middle east for some reason and can get held up. I got a package from Sprue Brothers a while back which had been stopped by customs in the UAE. And a guy in the US i know had a similar issue with a package he ordered from Hannants. So if it takes more than a week, it may be being held up somewhere.

I'm in Texas, and they routinely ship pretty fast after you place an order. Once shipped, 5-7 business days, give or take. Faster than Squadron. Whistling

They're good, but two things.

Really expensive now because of the Euro/ Dollar so make sure you understand the rate before you but. Google has a tool for that.

And they do have a way of shipping partial orders, which I guess is ok, but you don't find out until it (partially) arrives.

They actually have a currency converter on their website which converts it to your local currency and removes the local (UK) Tax from the price. Top right hand corner drop down menu, changes the price on an item to your chosen currency. It may not be 100% accurate but its close enough.

Are you sure you are not thinking of the old site. I know this used to be an issue. But since they changed the site it now carries a live stock and you can't order something they don't have in. I haven't had this issue in the last couple of years.
