Hmm.....yeah, couldn't tell myself if Aaron showed. There were a couple guys there in big, bushy beards.... umm.. ya.. lol.. there was..
I saw that you guys were being generous to the vendors, especially dupes. You guys had a table of your own to clean out the closets, and he was busy restocking! Well. some vendors had good deals going.. and Dupes can't resist a deal.. as could none of the rest of us. We;re thinking of devoting meeting time to a 12 step program... lol. NOT !
The awards- yeah, you guys got a nice haul, and brought some really nice work. That glider predecessor to the Ho-229 of yours (was it Planet Models?) was really cool, and the dazzle scheme on the F-15 really popped- I think that was the one that got you the 1st? thanks on the HO... ! and the F-15. it was my F-100 with Hans in the cockpit that won the 1st.. unless you guys messed up again.. !! lol.. oh.. thanks for the NON tank 1st place to.. hahaha...
The Multi engined prop category- we looked at the records over the last couple years and the # of entries has been inconsistant, and having leftover plaques is money wasted. But, I was asked about that a couple of times so the contest committee will discuss splitting that category again. I agree, too many models just makes a mess. Ya,, I thought it was a mess there.. to many "types" competing... 1/32., 1/48, 1/72.. single props.. multi.. etc.. ( Ps.. the 1st place winner was ummm..dusty... )
Glad to see all you guys in any case. Next year we'll have to see about setting up the FSM forums group shot. That sounds like a cool idea.. maybe have a check off box on the entry forms.. and then you can round em up for a group shot , in the lull period before awards..
