Ah yes........I know that feeling well.  Put a 2nd floor on my house which brought all modeling to an abrupt halt. Project started 2nd week of December, major construction ended 2nd week of February. Still putting finishing touches on house, have to re do the front yard next. I have at least 6 "in progress" builds on hold, & a whole bunch of stuff taunting me from the stash!

Between working, family, & finishing up the house, I sometimes find myself in the fetal position caressing my airbrush & mumbling "My Precious" over & over. Hopefully the madness will end soon so I can get back to modeling, & the 1:1 1970 Dodge Challenger I'm restoring as well!

If one ever needed proof that modelling is an addiction I have it. I do my building in the Garage. Recently we had to have some repairs done to our house which resulted in the gutting of one wall and half the ceiling of the garage. All my kits, supplies and tools are boxed up and wrapped under a plastic tarp while the repairs continue and the dust flies. The contractor started work back in early April with a 2-week estimate. Well now we're looking at the May 15th timeframe as we wait for an inspector. In the mean time, I have 4 kits all in the "Oh so close to finishing" phase, 1 in the fun "build phase" and 50 or so that are in that tempting "I'll do this one as soon as...." phase. I have not been at the bench in a month now and it's really eating at me. Short of getting the shakes and cold sweats I am definitely enduring some serious withrdrawl! One thing I am finding though is the longing to immediately tackle those "shelf queen" kits as soon as I get my bench back.
