Nice, and seems devoid of clutter. My "room", has been taken over with the excess cr$% that nobody wants. I'm desperately trying to remove it. It is such a deterrent to getting anything finished.

Great!  You'll really enjoy it.  I remember my first basement workshop. That was many decades ago.  One thing I have found is similar to Parkinsen's law (work expands to use up all the resources available).  Basement workshops expand to fill the space available.  We paid extra to have a portion of our basement excavated that ordinarily was not full depth, and that became a 12 x 20 workshop.  It is by far the largest I have ever had, and I thought I would never outgrow it. It is now jam-packed and there are power tools I would like to add, but no space for them, and my stash fills all my storage shelves with no space for more shelving :-(  I guess that means I have to build more and shop less!

We bought a new place and now, in the far reaches of the dark basement I have my own modeling roomBig SmileBig Smile. No longer will I have to wait untill my wife goes to bed and then build for half an hour or so before I get very sleapy. Now I can breathe paint and glue fumes all I want, any time I want as long as I want Big SmileBig Smile
