Try www.swannysmodels.com. He offers a series of DVDs that will be of great help. I have three and go back to watching them on a regular basis and seem to pick up something each time. Worth the price to me.

You didn't mention what you model.

There are many model building DVD's out there. Many are put out by someone using average home recording gear. That doesnt make them bad. The problem is knowing which ones are good. At $30-$50 each it would get very expensive to try them on a lark.  I wouldn't mind paying these prices if it were worth it. Google is your friend.

A guy at Flory models put out some decent stuff on YouTube but he has now gone pretty much to a subscription web site.

David Fisher over at Amazing Figure Modeller gets good comments. He deals in figures but his ideas could be used on other things.
