I'll admit, I've bought very little from Squadron. There are a number of reasons... living in Texas the purchases are subject to over 8% sales tax, thier pricing on most non-sale items isn't very competitive, and a web storefront that would have been state of the art in 1995. Honestly, it's the last one that's the worst.
But all of this is irrelevant when they go on a sale spree, and the open house usually has a good one. If you're in the DFW area this Friday or Saturday, it's definitely worth it to come by. I don't think I'll be getting there right at 8 AM, but I've already arranged for the day off work so I'll see what's left around 10 AM.
