Jon, thanks for the update. I knew the guys here would fill in my poor knowledge on armored stuff.

Cwalker, it's a shame that APG is closed, but luckily I got a chance to visit the year before it happened.

Thanks for taking the time to do this. I especially loved the APG pics. I live very close to the old museum and although I've been there several times, there were still hundreds of pics I wish I had taken.

Great photos of a lot of interesting subjects. Looks like a lot of tender loving care and hard work was put into the webpage. Thanks for the link waikong.

I've been taking pictures of military museums in the US since I got a digital camera in the last 10 years or so.  I've been putting  them all up on a webpage, thought it may be of interest to those that may be visiting near them. So you can take a look and see if it fits your interest and thus worth a visit  This includes the Intreprid Air & Space, Planes of Fame, Westpoint, Udvar Hazy, US Marines musuem, etc...

Hope to get some more international ones in the future.  Had a few in the UK but those visits were before digital cameras and taking lots of pictures were much more cost prohibitive.

Hope you find some place worth stopping by and support the good folks who run these places.
