Who makes a model of the Vought  V-173  airplane commonly called the Flying Pancake? It's a model I would like to build.

Thanks for the quick responses. I ordered the 1/48 scale kit.  It is out of stock so it will be a few weeks I receive it.

Gordon

I don't know if you know, but the original aircraft has been restored recently and will spend the next 10 years at the Frontiers of Flight Museum at Dallas Love Field Airport. (North Texas)

After that it will probable go back to the
Smithsonian's Air & Space Museum, who handed the aircraft over to Grand Prairie's Vought Aircraft Heritage Foundation in 2003 so that it could be restored.

With regards, Ninetalis.

Thanks for the update on the Flying Pancake. I didn't know it had been restored or where it is.
