Welcome to the Forum!

The Panzerwerfer's dedicated ammo carrier was called the Mun.Sd.Kfz.4/1—basically it was a Panzerwerfer 42 with the turret removed, with a two-man crew and stowage (interior/exterior combined) for a total of 30 rounds. Roden released a version in 1/72, but I think you'd need to scratch/convert in the larger scale.

Regards

Greg

Welcome Sign

Glad to have you aboard, but I think this is best directed to the Armor Forum. Wink

I wish I could answer the question, but don't have an answer.

Panzerwerfer 42 auf Maultier questions
Posted by 4x4maniac on Friday, June 22, 2012 3:35 PM

Hey all ! I am currently building Italeri's Panzerwerfer 42 auf Maultier & was wondering about several items - I have seen Sdkfz 11's converted to ammo ( rockety ) carriers but was there a specific vehicle to accompany the Pzwfrs ? Also - any references possibly showing any type of trailer for rocket transpo ( eg. the 2cm & 3.7 cm flak trailers [ as Trumpeter is so fond of providing ! ] ? Thanks in advance for any possible assistance !
