New lighting ideas and I need feedback on a few?'s!

Okay, here's my latest idea. For the longest time I've been trying to make my 57 BelAir light up like an X-Mas tree. So, I came up with the idea to use bare metal foil and old lights out of McDonnalds toys to light my car. The plan was to use the foil as a self adhering wire and connect the foil to the inside of the body. The problem is that I want to put the batteries in the trunk and have to 1: figure out a switch of some sort, and 2: figure out a contact point of some sort between the body and the chasis. Problem is how to do this when it must be built before final assembly and then actually make contact when assembled!!!! So if any one has ideas, I would apreciate them alot!!!! HEY,
Sorry i posting in all of your questions about this. OK, My idea would to cut out the trunk lid and make it so it can open. Run the bare metal foil aloong the top of the chassis. Leave a little extra at the end by the trunk. Put everything together and when you are done, open the trunk and place the batteries in. Attach the bare metal foil. You have already heard my idea for the switch so, ill let you decide on that part. Thanks alot for bringing up this topic. Im thinking of doing the same thing now.

Hi.

If you don't get much luck, try your Model Railroad shop and look for products from a Company called: BUSCH Miniature Models (German)

They make super mini Led's(Red, Yellow & Green) as well as a produkt called "Silber Leitlack" which is a silver paint that is electricity conductive.

Hope this helps.
