Try PicasaWeb by Google. I've been using it since its inception with no issues at all.

If you're using Internet explorer I am not suprised that you are having issues,
The only time I use Explorer is to download another browser, lol...

I've been on photobucket for years and I have never had any problems at all,
not even these days.

With regards, Ninetalis.

Well it seems to be with Photobucket + Internet Explorer for my browser. If I use Google Chrome as my browser there are no issues... so far...

...wasn't finished and hit the post button on my droid,sorry..anyway, since I got my new laptop,not experiencing "lockups" anymore...might be a memory issue.

There's Flikr...never used it so don't know if it's any good. My kids told me about Deviant Arts but I couldn't figure out how to use it. If Photobucket starts acting up on me again, I'll be looking for a new place too.

Cadet Chuck

I have heard that every time you log into Photobucket, your personal information is sent out to at least 30 or more commercial sites.

It' only recently that I've started to experience difficulty with it, but come to think about it, it's only since getting the intrusion prevention warning that my email address has been flooded with I-phone & Viagra trash.....

fotki.com. You can go free but bandwidth is limited as is sharing. I got premium gold ($50 for 36 months) that has unlimited everything and no bandwidth restrictions. I moved everything from my photobucket there (still in the process of it tbh). ADVERTISINGBUCKET locks up my pc too because they insist on making me watch a video on uploads and for some reason while no other video does their adverts foul up my flash player.

I use Photobucket, but don't log in that often - I have noticed that on my last two visits (this week & a couple of weeks ago) that I've had NIS intrusion attempt warnings..............

Lockerz, DeviantART & Shutterfly are a few that come to mind, Wikipedia (where else) has a reasonably good listing & comparison of most popular photo hosting sites;

Photobucket alternatives?

Lately I have been having lots of issues with Photobucket. Basically the site is starting to lock up my computer every time that I use it and I am spending way too much time trying to get to pics there. What sites do you guys use and would you recommend them? Do they have all the annoying pop up adds, banners and videos of PB or are they more user friendly?
