Several years ago a friend who served with a P-38 photo unit in the South Pacific gave me items from his collection. One is an American flag and the other is s map of Japan and the South Pacific . Both are silk. He said pilots carried these items with them on missions. I think they should be insured. Any idea where i can locate someone who can give me an estimate of their value.
