Revell Aqua Paint.

Been a forum member for a little while now, and i would like to know the thoughts of other forum members and the FSM team on this particular paint thats arrived onto the market....Revell Aqua Paint.

Revell Aqua...i am now hooked, because of these points..1. excellent coverage, 2. drying time is fast, 3. airbrush ready, 4. easy to clean your airbrush or brush.

I have recently made some Tamiya 1/20th scale Formula One cars (ten so far)..by that i mean bought altered their apperance and change their original colours and their sponsors, into what my team colours would have been should i have been a team owner. My team is called Team Cross as my surname is Crossman chopped of the the last three letters of Crossman hence Cross in Team Cross. The cars colours are Orange all over but the on the top from the front of the cockpit to the end tip of the nose cone has a White blaze, i also done some subtle changes on some cars, front wing, middle of car, rear wings. And in others major changes to how they look again front, middle, rear.

And this is where i took a chance and bought a Revell Aqua paint pot...Orange Gloss, as i have always used Humbrol enamel upto when i started using this aqua. 

My gamble paid off as not only did this paint cover excellently, but dries very quickly, and the finish looks amazing,  you may have to use a few extra coats to achieve the look your after, i painted all the cars with a brush, and as Revell says no brush marks are left...and they were right.

So this modeller is now stocking up on the range of this particular brand, they offer Gloss, Matt, Satin, Clear, finishes.
