Assembling Model Kasten tracks
Posted by Amraam1 on Thursday, September 13, 2012 6:16 PM

I'm getting ready to assemble a set of Model Kasten tracks.  What is the best way to glue the little pins in without messing up the works?  Do I need some kind of pin-point glue applicator?  What would the best glue/applicator be to use?

Try using Testors lquid cement, the one in the black squeeze bottle, not the one in the glass bottle.   Make a small puddle of glue on a piece of glass, use a wire to apply small amounts to the sides of the pins, then carefully insert the pin into the assembled track segment.  You will go quite mad, but with a little practice, the tracks can be made to work.
