I am sitting here with my latest FSM in front of me. I was particularly interested in the article on the cases by THOMAS M. BARNES. He really did a nice job explaining the procedures . This was done in a nicely assembled group of pictures and the captions thereof.
I would only add that is you don,t want to use wood bottoms you can also build the bottoms of clear sheet and put an edge around that to lock the top in place.I use steel pins at the corners and midway down the length of the sides.Remember , I build ships so the cases are longer.I have used THOMAS,S method for years with nary a bad case as the result.
So,in closing ,a very good ,and informative article with no mystery to the process. Job" WELL DONE ,THOMAS" and thank you FSM for bringing it to us. TANKER-builder.
