THE HOLIDAY SEASON--FOR THE MODELERS OUT THERE AND THE FSM STAFFERS
Posted by tankerbuilder on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 10:11 AM

AHA,!! Its that time of year AGAIN. Well, are yopu ready? I think we ALL should take the time and stop.STOP,Why? Well, think about it.As modelers ,we have been deluged with a plethora of new models , tools , and other things that twenty years ago, shoot,in some cases five years ago didn,t exist in the marketplace. So , that gets a big thank you.

I would say that with all this , and the new modelers coming into the hobby , we have a whole lot to be thankful for. It,s not about the turkey or the football game. it,s about all that life has given us that,s good, both as modelers and human beings. So that,s a big thank you

Many of us compete,go to contests and shows. The year has brought new folks into our lives.I know, those on the east coast aren,t about to feel as I do.True, but, look how few were sent on their way to their reward in the midst of all that anguish.Even that is something to be thankful for as a nation and community.

With that.I as a cardiac trauma survivor ,would like to thank ALL those of you out there who have shared your modeling lives with me.be good to yourself and your families and by all means HAPPY THANKSGIVING.Thank you for being part of my life. --------TANKER-builder

Well said, tankerbuilder!  Ditto from me!  I am also a cardiac surgery survivor so it makes it easy to feel the same way!

Cheers to that Tankerbuilder!!! Being a survivor of an entirely different desease I know all to well the power of Gratitude. Take stock in every little thing there is your life to be grateful for because when we fill our hearts and soul with Gratitude there is NO room for self-pity, resentment and fear. Thank you, every one of you, for the friendship and comaradarie that is found on this forum.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
