                        can anyone recommend a good brand for a modern aircraft carrier  between 1/600 to 1/800. I am looking for the best one that doesnt need aftermarket parts or decals.

                        I have an Academy 1:800 USS Kitty Hawk, pretty nice standard kit, no PE rails or anything like that included though. Revell of Germany still has a fairly decent CV-63 Enterprise. Dragon has a line of pretty nice British carriers that have a small fret of PE included.

                        The Trumpeter 1/700 Nimitz is pretty hard to beat. Nice detail out of the box.
