Mr. Color Acrylics- thinning and brush-cleaning instructions
Posted by Lavarre on Monday, November 26, 2012 8:28 PM

I've just gotten some Mr. Color Acrylic paints for doing the 1:72 scale Hasegawa B-24.  The bottles seem to be all in Japanese.  Could anyone advise  thinning and brush-cleaning instructions.  I've seen some acrylics advice in fine scale modeler, but nothing on Mr. Color Acrylics, specifically.  Thank you for your help...

I think that more people will see your post and be able to answer it if you put it into the Painting and Airbrushing Forum. I myself use Distilled Water to thin and wash out my brushes. Windex also does a good job of cleaning airbrushes. Good luck.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.

To be clear, which paint do you have:  1) Mr Color or 2) Aqueous Hobby Color ?

It makes a huge difference on the answer as Mr Color is NOT acrylic but is a lacquer type paint.  If Mr Color, I use run of the mill lacquer thinner from Lowes/Home Depot to clean with.
