Thanks Dre

I was at one  of the locale hobby shop's today they had a few Tasca  kits . They looked impressive .

So this Bantam should be very interesting . If I can get over the sticker shock  I'll get one when it gets released .

I've built the 1/35 Pz.Kpfw II Ausf. L and it has some of the finest injection molding I've ever seen- the turret lift hooks are exquisite for such a mundane detail.   The fit and engineering is DML-level while the molding is just a touch sharper than usual.

Based on that model alone, I'd buy another Tasca kit.

Thanks for the info Rob.

Sounds like this Bantam kit might run more than a Hasegawa Jeep kit

Tasca first entered 1/35 scale armor modeling with a Kubelwagen that was widely released by Dragon and Hasegawa. Somehow I think they are related to Hasegawa. They then released the Pz.Kpfw II Ausf. L Luchs. It was widely regarded as a great kit but not that popular a subject.

Then they made their name with the ever expanding Sherman series. They are expensive kits, but as I alluded to in another thread, there were modelers who "had to have" these great Sherman models then decided to sell them when Tasca got around to releasing the variant they really wanted. I doubt I paid more than $30 for any of the ones I have. That's nearly half the price.

I've never built anything by them, but their line of Shermans are considered by many to be the best of the best. A bit pricey for me, but maybe I'll bet lucky and pick one up at a show cheap.

On another Forum came across 1/24 scale Bantam in the work's  from Tasca. Had picture of prototype.

Not familiar with Tasca kits,  what  can any one tell me about them.
