To Gun Boat or not to Gun Boat? Bf 109 G-6

Hi All,
Hey I'm building a 1/32 Hasegawa bf 109 G-6, "Yellow 16" of JG 77. I'm doing Floyd Werner Jrs DVD build and it calls for the 20 mm underwing gondolas (Rustsaetze VI) and I can't find a reference that shows if it did or did not have them. Can anyone help me in this specific area of my vast ignorance?
